The launch of the adidas Aruku—a new silhouette blending 2000s technology and style—gives us a chance to follow the steps of Teo Lucadamo, a musician who thrives on artistic ambiguity.
For Teo Lucadamo, one life isn’t enough; he creates new personas to channel his creativity. Today, he may be seen as an unexpectedly viral musician, but he could just as easily fit into any creative realm. Performance has been Teo’s first love and perhaps his most visible side, yet there is much more to him. Lucadamnson is both a persona, crafted in the spirit of MC Humpty Hump or Slim Shady, and a way for Teo to broaden his horizons.

To celebrate the release of the adidas Adizero Aruku, we follow Teo through an ordinary day. Aruku, the concept driving this new model’s design, is the Japanese term for “walking”, so there’s no better way to explore it than by tracking his footsteps, carrying the weight of his references and the fluidity with which he changes direction.

Teo’s style, like his creative outlook, is formed through borrowed elements, garments from chance encounters, and unexpected blends. It’s a way to amplify and express his boundary-pushing music—a blend of genres, deliberately light, and steering clear of drama. Everyday life, seen through a lens that lets you discover new facets, reflects a world where anyone might find a piece of themselves.

Teo Lucadamo is the first creator we accompany for the launch of adidas Aruku, an initiative we present as an exercise in style and movement.
