November Yeezys: YEEZY Boost 350 V2 “Sesame”
To kick off the weekend, we see the YEEZY Boost 350 V2 “Sesame” finally release. It’s the same old 350 V2 look on this drop. No surprises – which is a bit of a relief from Kanye. The upper is in its standard Primeknit build.
This featherweight material also provides some underrated support. It’s also become a versatile adapter of colorways. This Yeezy model alone has taken on a number of unique aesthetics.
For this latest drop, things get a bit old school. The Gum bottoms are going to be a nostalgic visual for older sneakerheads. Sure, it’s a popular motif for a lot of folks. But, Gum soles are a hallmark of the 80s and 90s sneakerhead dreams. The Yeezy team have been generous with this particular design aspect.
The Frozen Yellow release was the last model to sport those soles. At this point, Yeezy’s design approach is looking quite multifaceted. It’s good timing as well. This Sesame colorway will be dropping in relatively huge numbers. Kanye seems to be keeping to his promise of making his shoes more available.
Resellers might not be too pleased about this. That doesn’t change how the wider sneaker community feels, though. Yeezy drops have been an icon of resale culture. People have been missing out on drops for years due to wholesale purchases. Sure, the increase in quantity means a lower resale value. But, for those of us that just want to wear our shoes, it’s music to our ears.
Available this Friday, November 23rd, make sure you don’t miss out on this Yeezy release. There’s no telling how often the design team is going towards Gum bottoms. Moreover, the wide releases could very well stop soon. Before they do, take advantage and cop a reasonably priced pair.
