Last Saturday March 26th was Air Max Day and at our Foot District store in Madrid we wanted to celebrate it properly, surrounded by our friends who join us on this adventure.

During this month focused on the Air Max, we had many surprises prepared based on two of the most highly anticipated releases for the special day: the Nike Air Max Zero with the colorway based on the sketch by Tinker Hatfield for the first Air Max and the Nike Air Max BW OG Persian Violet.
The idea of using 3D printing technology and the release of the Air Max Day from the last Air Max Zero and the Big Window OG was all one. The result was a set of miniatures of the Air Max Zero painted in detail, with a very special packaging and, of course, printed in 3D.

And not only those who dared to enter but also all those who passed through Malasaña had the chance to glimpse at our window display that was dressed for the occasion: behind the commemorative glass text there was a recreation of what Tinker Hatfield’s desk would be like when he designed the Air Max Zero, full of sketches and with a sneaker printed in real size.

And with the Air Max BW OG we had the idea of making a very special personalized box that we gave away to the first customer who bought a pair. In addition, thinking about what the BW conveys to us and its “big window”, we made a video recounting the idea we had in mind.

Thanks to all our friends who were there celebrating #FDAirMax, next year it will be bigger and better!
