Can you imagine sailing with an Olympic medalist? Meeting Olympians who enjoy the ocean so much is a true luxury. Passion for the sea, for what surrounds it and outrage for what is damaged and despised at times.
Last Saturday, April 10, the second TERRA PROJECT experience took place in collaboration with Nike ACG and ocean52. Accompanied by the Olympic sailor Alfredo Vásquez, we spent the morning cruising on a sailboat along the coast of Barcelona, getting to know the beauty and fragility of the environment and collecting the waste that we found on the surface.
For this new action, we launched two sailboats with a small team and a skipper in each of them. The participants were able to know first-hand some technical aspects of navigating, even handling the wheel or hoisting the sail.
