Starcow, the Parisian store delves into desert landscapes in a new collaboration that uses the Saucony ProGrid Omni 9 as its foundation.
Starcow, Paris
Starcow emerged in the suburbs of Paris in the mid-’90s. Rooted in skate culture, it seamlessly fused hip-hop and streetwear influences through emerging brands, quickly establishing itself as an international reference. Entering the 21st century, Starcow relocated to Les Halles, a pivotal hub for trends and culture in Paris.

Saucony x Starcow
Saucony and Starcow collaborate on one of Saucony’s essential models, the ProGrid Omni 9, originally launched in 2010. The shoe’s revival set the standard for vintage tech aesthetics, featuring layered designs, metallic tones, advanced materials, and reflective elements.

ProGrid Omni 9 Armor Desert
While the first Saucony x Starcow collaboration drew inspiration from forests, this new edition takes its cues from deserts. The ProGrid Omni 9 Armor Desert is crafted with Cordura®, a material known for its durability. The shoe showcases a predominantly earthy tone, enhanced by textured Cordura® and a molded rubber “armor,” giving it a more solid and tactical appearance.

The name “Armor Desert” reflects both the desert-inspired palette and a functionalist ethos, blending essentialism with technical design.
The Saucony x Starcow ProGrid Omni 9 Armor Desert is available now at FOOTDISTRICT, in a special pack featuring custom packaging and various lace options.
