The Saucony Grid 9000 is the subject of its latest collective release, the Liberty Pack. This USA-leaning release will feature two different interpretations of a patriotic colour scheme.
The Grey pair sports a woven build for its pass, giving off some familiar vibes via like-styled models such as Nike’s Inneva. Hints of Vachetta Tan leather pop on this upper, accompanied by smooth overlays. The alternative is a Light Tan pair that sports perforated leather throughout most of the upper, adorned with Vachetta leather accents.
Each of these sneakers is finished with a classic gum outsole and chunky White midsole. The patriotic theme here is used to bring out some of the texture and detail of the chosen materials, giving the shoes a semi-premium look and feel.
It may not be the streamlined, sharpened shapes we’re used to seeing nowadays, but Saucony has always been about sticking to its Originals line the only way it knows how.
