Since the beginning of time, cold has been a natural ally for preserving the essential, freezing shapes and maintaining their core characteristics.
But what if, instead of keeping things intact, cold could transform them? At FOOTDISTRICT, we froze the Salomon Snowclog and brought it back as something entirely new.

The Salomon Snowclog was originally designed as an après-ski model—a term that once meant “after skiing” but now encompasses all activities at a winter resort, not just those after skiing. This all-terrain design was crafted to provide comfort in any context, which is why its purpose has evolved, making appearances in unexpected settings.

Inspired by the original model from the early 2000s, the new Salomon Snowclog seems to have remained frozen in ice for years. However, the cold has left its mark, adapting materials and lines to give it a contemporary look. In this editorial, ice acts as both a time capsule and a catalyst for change, transforming an ageless essence into two refreshed versions of the Salomon Snowclog, ready for a new era.
The new Salomon Snowclog in its various versions and colours is now available at FOOTDISTRICT.
