The new footwear, apparel, and accessory line from Puma and Pleasures is inspired by athletic tracks, and racing aesthetics.
The new Puma x Pleasures collaboration is entirely focused on racing inspiration from a punk perspective. T-shirts, sweatshirts and pants are made of materials associated with speed, bright colours and creations designed for the occasion by Puma and Pleasures, all with the goal of bringing visual speed.
The slogan “Recipe for Destruction” appears as a mantra on some of the collection’s garments. Cellerator Track Jacket and Cellerator Track Pants draw inspiration from Puma’s history on the track and field, while the essential T-shirts feature custom graphics that also appear on accessories.
Speed as a concept is also linked to the origin of the Puma Spirex, a new shoe designed by Pleasures that incorporates elements from Puma’s fastest actions, including a sole inspired by runner spikes and an asymmetrical upper that reinterprets the brand’s automotive heritage. The Puma x Pleasures Spirex comes in two monochromatic colorways. Almost unexpectedly, the new TS-01 is dressed up with quilted fabrics and a new generation closure.
