We transport a selection of our FOOTDISTRICT garments to a new environment, away from the rest of the world. In our latest editorial, we explore a place with its own set of rules.
A family. A swimming pool. A vegetal wall. A routine dinner. Boredom buster games. A handful of words with new meanings. The sea is a leather chair with wooden arms. An excursion is a very resistant material used to build floors. A chaperone is a beautiful white bird.
Isolated, the only connection to the outside world is a wall brimming with vegetal beauty that occasionally allows strange elements to enter its particular universe: an aeroplane, a cat and a film. Elements that, rather than intoxicating the interior, adapt to have a new meaning that is consistent with the environment. A cage that also functions as a word factory, choosing its own meanings.
A remote environment with its own rules dictated by a magnetophone, isolated from the rest of the universe. Garments from our store that may have an original meaning outside the walls but a new one inside, associated with their own concept of freedom.
