FOOTDISTRICT and Nike ACG collaborated on an editorial that retraces their origins, geographically distant but close in terms of creative and inspirational resources. Origins in nature have led them to establish their own meeting place, TERRA PROJECT.

Despite being 8000 km apart, Nike and FOOTDISTRICT’s origins can be seen as the two poles of a path, a route that leads to TERRA PROJECT, a collection of activities intended to reboot our connection to nature.
The Oregon Series was born in 2000 as a return to the origins of Nike ACG, a collection designed to adapt to continuous movement as a way to connect with nature. A functionally-based design that grew and broadened its range of potential applications beyond water, stone, and grass. Adaptable systems, multifunctional pockets, and reversible garments bearing the name of the state where Nike was born.

With a proactive and revitalized proposal, FOOTDISTRICT looks to the mountains of León as a return to its roots. This is an invitation to find in dynamism an approach to nature and in nature a pattern from which to extract ideas applicable to design.
TERRA PROJECT, a collaboration between Nike ACG and FOOTDISTRICT, arose from the need to protect and care for the planet through experiences that seek to regenerate our relationship with natural spaces. No wifi. Without filters. And we want you to be part of them.
