Off-White x Nike Air VaporMax Now in White
The partnership between Off-White and Nike has produced some truly memorable drops. In their latest offering, we get a look at the Off-White x Nike Air VaporMax in White.
It’s a collaboration that will likely go down in the history books of hyped releases.
After its original debut back in late 2017, as part of “The Ten”, Nike’s latest in the Max line returns in enviable form.
As always, Virgil Abloh’s take on the design involves some stripping down and exposed elements.

Off White x Nike VaporMax Flyknit White
This most recent drop follows that of the Black colorway (March 30th) and sticks to most of the basics. As with most VaporMax models, the upper is primarily featured in a Flyknit construction.
The one-piece design has come to be a bit of a standard for Nike, leading the way in their runners category.
It’s also a part of the current athleisure trend in footwear. As usual with Abloh, there are bold, street-inspired takes here as well. The “AIR” script on the heel is almost mockingly placed.
Yet, it comes through with a sort of Warhol-ish vibe. The Off-White founder shows his understanding of pop culture and how it intersects with branding.
Of course, the robust midsole still features boldly here. Even the base White colorway doesn’t take away from the shoe’s gaudy appearance.
Adding to that motif are elements such as a deconstructed lacing bed, accompanied by the signature red zip-tie.
On the inside lateral section of the shoe, we also get the familiar surplus of script shouting out Nike’s origins.
In true Abloh form, all of his work with Nike has been labeled and presented as though it was being shown in a gallery.
Due out on Saturday, April 14th, you’ll want to make sure you don’t miss out on the raffle and chance to own a piece of sneaker history.
