Nike‘s React platform continues to flex its versatility, returning to shelves this Saturday with an all-new ISPA makeover. Following on from the success of the ISPA-driven React Runner Mid, Nike dishes up another variation with a decidedly lower cut and distinctively different aesthetic.
A New ISPA Offering has Arrived!
The React WR ISPA embraces the line’s core strategy of ‘Improvise/Scavenge/Protect/Adapt’ to reinterpret the essence of the React Element 87 through an all new lens.
Seemingly in contrast to its high-performance cushioning, the newest React model arrives intentionally rough around the edges. Its overall appearance is best described as a fusion of disruption and deconstruction, as evidenced by its eye-catching asymmetrical lacing and lateral ISPA branding.
ISPA isn’t just about aesthetics though, and fortunately the React WR ISPA is a perfect harmony of form and function. Along with excellent energy return thanks to the use of Nike’s highly praised React cushioning, the new sneaker also boasts water-resistant capabilities – making it the perfect footwear choice come rain or shine.
The React WR ISPA makes its debut in two contrasting colourways. The first features a chocolatey ‘Velvet Brown’ upper, highlighted with blazing ‘Terra Orange’ accents. The unusual pairing is finished off with ‘Dark Stucco’ React cushioning.
The second colourway utilises a crisp ‘Summit White’ base, beautifully accented with ‘Deep Royal Blue’, orange and black. Embracing similarly earthy aesthetics, this lighter offering comes equipped with dusty khaki React midsoles.
The Nike React WR ISPA debuts at Foot District on Saturday, February 23, at 9am CET through the Foot District’s nike store and at 11am through our Madrid and Barcelona stores.
