The Air Max 98 is still raving after 20 years
Another anniversary celebration is already in motion for 2018. Originally debuted 20 years ago, the Air Max 98 screams 90s aesthetic and it’s another one of those silhouettes with a massive cult behind.
Although retroed in 2014 without much success, 2018 seems the perfect timing for another Air Max craziness. Worth reminding that the Supreme collaboration in 2016 and also the current trend play a major role.
Now about the shoe itself, the Air Max 98 inherited the full-length air sole unit from the Air Max 97 but with a completely redesigned upper and like it’s predecessor isn’t short on details.
Multi-patterned and multi-textured layers, mini-swoosh on the side panel and toe box and Air Max branding on the tongue makes the Air Max 98 unique and for sure one of the year’s must have shoes.
