When the Air Max 97 dropped earlier this year, it was greeted with a ton of fan fair. Line-ups stretched for blocks and servers nearly crashed with people trying hard to cop a pair. There was one problem, though: there was only one colorway. La Silver made its return and even though the Swoosh head community was thrilled, there was a general lack of variety.
All of that is about to change with the recent release of a host of colorways. The iconic wavy design on the upper takes on a number of iterations, including Triple White, Triple Black, and Midnight Navy. For the more premium-minded sneaker freaks, there’s even a Suede version of the AM 97. Some exclusive women’s pairs include an eye-popping Cobblestone look as well as a Black/White iteration.
The AM97 getting even more standard colorways is going to be good news for pretty much all Swoosh heads. Despite the increase in pairs, you’ll want to make sure you don’t sleep on this release!
