The recognizable Air Max 1 Mini Swoosh is back. There’s a lot of company history in this design, highlighted by that familiar shrunken Swoosh branding. Back in the early 90s, one of the first few times we saw this little check mark was on the Huarache Light.
Not only did it represent something new and fresh, it signaled some experimentation by the brand. As you might have guessed this was all done thanks to the leading efforts of Nike’s most famous designer: Tinker Hatfield.
After toying with the mini branding for years, this little design aspect has come to be yet another collection-worthy feature to add to your rotation. Here, we see this particular colorway take on a fairly understated Platinum look.
Though the Black mini Swoosh jumps out a bit, we do still get the usual branding notes. Those lateral aspects come in a Sail White to match up with the midsole and tongue.
This premium drop gives us a different take on how Nike sees premium releases. Whether way you choose to go, you can’t really go wrong!
