Nike’s Air Max Month (because let’s face it, March belongs to the Air Max) continues to put faces and names to the global obsession with Air. Since its original introduction, the Air Max 1 has symbolized the beginnings of this worldwide love affair with the Swoosh. In that time, we’ve seen the AM1 in a multitude of styles, some of which have become unforgettable classics. Now, we see them all compiled in the upcoming Master iteration.
Similar to Nike’s “What The?” line of compiled styles in one model, the Air Max 1 Master brings back some of Nike fans’ favorite looks. The highlights here are the hints of the OG model at the toe cap and the Safari print towards the heel.
The AM1 has been a bonafide hit for so long that it’s easy to imagine designers having a problem deciding which styles to include. In any case, you can expect this pair to drop on March 11th.
