More “Curry” from Nike
The year’s hottest Air Max release could be well after the annual runner line’s celebration. Even considerably removed from Air Max Day, Nike keeps the heat coming with the Nike Air Max 1 “Green Curry” and “Red Curry” drop.
This is one collaborative release that’s sure to send fans frantic on release day – resellers will be on the hunt as well. Simply put, atmos and Nike release indisputable fire. The partners have been dropping hype-worthy pieces for a long time now. This time around, we get a return of the coveted 2003 “Curry” iteration.
The Japanese retailer had brought something a bit new to the AM1 game when the “Curry” colorway dropped. All of it by decking the shoe out in thick cuts of suede. They also worked with Nike to pick a colorway that would show off the unique texture of those soft overlays.
The “Curry” iteration helps to make the case for every runner to turn back the dial and suit up in suede or nubuck. In this latest return of the shoe, we get a little something extra. Though the OG “Curry” scheme will likely be the most sought-after, atmos and Nike bring out two new flavors of the unique aesthetic.

The “Red Curry” look puts a darker and slightly more aggressive tone on the soft upper. The option is for a “Mushroom” color for the mesh base. This mix helps each hue stand out as an individual piece of the whole colorway, lending plenty in the way of contrast.
The “Green Curry” scheme works in a somewhat similar way but with softer contrasts. The Olive shade here is accompanied by a complimentary Peat Moss base, joined by the slight boldness of Habanero eyestays. Each of these colorways finishes off with a play on the classic White Air Max 1 midsole.
Stay tuned for more info on a release date and how you can get your hands on these!
