Back: Nike Air Max 1 Anniversary “Royal”
Nike’s famous silhouette known for its visible air unit was originally released in 1987 by the hand of Tinker Hatfield, becoming one of the most iconic sneakers in history. Fast forward 30 years and 2017 is the year of its 30th anniversary.
Next in line as part of the Nike Air Max 1 celebrations is the “Royal” iteration, firstly introduced as a women’s colorway the vibrant Royal Blue soon became a crowd favorite. The 2017 version is a close rendition of the original, with reworked shape and mesh, and even the box mimics the original package from 1987.
