Just Do It
The Nike Air Force 1 ’07 LV8 “Just Do It” takes a different approach to celebrating the iconic slogan. The tactic for this special pack was to print the logo all over the uppers. We see that aesthetic on the Air Max 1 and other Air Force 1 iterations on this release. For the Air Force 1 ’07 LV8, there’s a flip on this for the most part.
We still get the Orange base scheme, glistening thanks to the shoe’s full leather upper. On this, a few indications of the Just Do It phrase can be seen. Most predominantly, we see it in the form of a hang tag along with the lacing eyelets. The other expression of the slogan comes to us via a stitched patch on the heel.
Most of the other features are pretty standard for the AF1 LV8. The colorway is tonal – and loud! A big part of that was the more premium leather upper that comes with the LV8 edition of this classic hoops sneaker. And then there’s that midsole, chunky and White in this iteration.
This is a fantastic summer colorway. It’s one of the brightest releases from Nike for the summer and also happens to be released while the temperature is still hot in most of the Northern Hemisphere. What that means is that rocking some bright Orange kicks while the sun is out and bright makes all the sense in the world. In fact, you could probably rock some more somber tones on your outfit to really set these bad boys off!
Nike’s slogan is the subject of a whole lot of history. Its origins are interesting enough to warrant their own actual book. But, even more, impressive is what Nike has done with it since its inception!
