Once again this year, we bring you the best inspiration directly captured in two of the most important fashion capitals: Milan and Paris. For this, we have trusted Alex C Luque and his ability to move through the crowd and immortalize the beauty and originality of the moment.
Alex C Luque, excellence from the shadows and passion for the zeitgeist
As Philippe Pourhashemi describes him on his website, Alex is ‘an old soul’ who ‘from the shadows and using his camera as a medium’, travels fashion weeks around the world, driven by an insatiable curiosity about people, beauty and discovery.
For Alex, part of the magic lies in seeing how, season after season, the faces and personalities discovered through street style, “grow in every way, developing their style, becoming, each time, a little more themselves”. In a way, their work allows them to “reflect the zeitgeist” or spirit of the times. That is to say, the cultural atmosphere of each moment, which evolves “in each city and each person over the years”.
FW23: what ‘s next
Although this year’s large presence of “Korean pop stars, with their consequent avalanche of fans crowding the doors of the shows” has made the photographers’ job difficult, as Alex shared, here is a selection of the best from Paris and Milan during men’s fashion weeks FW 23 – 24:

This season, in addition to inspiration, we have drawn several conclusions. We continue to find looks that rely on footwear or key accessories to complete them (sunglasses, bags, accessories…).

We have also found textured garments that provide sensory stimuli to make our day-to-day with them comfortable and enjoyable.

But above all, what attracted the most attention on and off the catwalk was the predilection for classic lines and tones. On top of these lines, elements with more striking color or design often stand out, often contributed by footwear, for which there continues to be an undeniable passion.

In short, there is a general feeling that street style is being “refined” and, even above trend, footwear is still a key piece to create a unique personal style.
