Maison Kitsuné was born with a clear idea: to connect different worlds. Conceived in Paris but inspired by Tokyo, the brand was founded by Gildas Loaëc and Masaya Kuroki. It started in music and quickly crossed over into fashion, always driven by a spirit of collaboration and creativity.
That ability to unite distinct worlds is naturally reflected in its joint projects, which seamlessly blend aesthetics, history, and functionality.
Autry x Maison Kitsuné: reimagining a classic

The latest collaboration with Autry transforms a classic sports sneaker into a dialogue between American heritage and contemporary French style. The centerpiece is the Autry Medalist, reinterpreted in two exclusive colors—French Navy and Red—combined with white to symbolize the union of both worlds. Each model captures the energy of classic sports designs and the spirit of Ivy League universities, with clean lines, retro details, and a touch of Parisian sophistication.
A capsule beyond footwear
The collection goes beyond sneakers. It includes T-shirts in white and navy, a sweatshirt, socks, and a baseball cap, all designed to reflect the collaboration between the two brands. The co-branded logo featuring Maison Kitsuné’s iconic fox adds a sense of nostalgia and collectibility, while each piece maintains Autry’s signature functionality and urban style.

Shared creativity
Gildas Loaëc and Masaya Kuroki explain: “Maison Kitsuné has always aimed to build bridges between worlds—Paris and Tokyo, music and fashion. Collaborating with Autry felt natural; we share a passion for iconic pieces with a contemporary twist.” Roberta Benaglia, President of Autry, adds: “This capsule reflects our shared commitment to authenticity and creativity, celebrating timeless style while fostering global cultural connections.”
The collaboration between Maison Kitsuné and Autry is now available at FOOTDISTRICT.
