The latest Le Coq Sportif rendition of the LCS R1000 is inspired by the “Three Kings”, Melchior, Balthazar and Gaspar. The pack’s called “Rois Mages”. Three different shades of velvet mixed with tonal leather that mimics the outfits of the three kings, Cobalt Blue, Phoenician Purple and Rio Red contrasted with gold details across the laces and branding.
The tongue also features some cool gold embroidery, thread of the different gifts they carried to the new born child, of gold, frankincense and myrrh that is also printed on the insoles. The packaging is also really unique and special, each box has a crown and for some lucky winners a few figurines were placed at random on some of the boxes, which will entitle the winners to a voucher to be spent in the shop.
