Human Made and adidas present a new capsule for Fall/Winter 2020. The collection makes clear that NIGO is an expert when it comes to the reinterpretation of urban symbols.

NIGO, the Japanese creative mind behind A Bathing Ape and Human Made, decided to treat us this Fall/Winter with the capsule adidas by Human Made. This new collaboration bets on a trio of classics from the German brand. Each of the models is available in three different colorways, among which we can easily find reminiscences of the iconic BAPESTA.
Rivalry Low

The Rivalry Low are probably the boldest piece of the collection, in a tricolor palette that combines bright tones and delivers fresh and breezy mixtures as a result. The silhouette comes in brown/green/orange/yellow, brown/cream/pink and navy/blue/red/yellow. These will not let anyone indifferent, boasting an incredible exercise of reinterpretation that undoubtedly carries NIGO’s aesthetical signature.
Stan Smith

The Stan Smith delivers a simpler alternative, with less color combinations to keep alive that minimal DNA. In all three pairs, the 3-stripes on the sides are replaced by Human Made’s iconic hearts, highlighted in a bright red. The three stripes appear instead in a corner of the symbol, achieving a collaborative logo subtly and plainly. The tongue and the heel incorporate some new details that honor NIGO’s aesthetic. Lastly, the soles of the Stan Smith feature a yellowish tone that enhances their vintage look. The model is available in grey/white, green/white and black.
Campus

Last but not least, a range of the Campus 80 inevitably brings to our minds the collaboration between Human Made and adidas that included a version of the Superstar. This time, the silhouette also arrives without major changes. The remarkable heart is on the heel and the slogan “Gears for Futuristic Teenagers” on the side stripes. In this trinomial, the upper is mainly covered by suede. The Campus arrive in grey/white, green/white and a soft blue/white.
