Winter is coming… the good sort this time! After nearly two years of waiting, Game of Thrones is returning to screens next month for its eighth and final season. To commemorate the occasion, adidas has teamed up with HBO to release an expansive collection of six different UltraBOOSTS inspired by three of the TV series’ most iconic houses, as well as the Night’s Watch, White Walkers and, of course, dragons!
‘House Stark’ UltraBOOST
First up, is the ‘House Stark’ UltraBOOST, the darkest of the six. This grey and black colourway draws inspiration from the loyal Direwolf, as adorns House Stark’s coat of arms.
‘House Lannister’ UltraBOOST
Similarly, the ‘House Lannister’ UltraBOOST features a regal rouge and gold colourway inspired by the intimidating roaring lion embraced on House Lannister’s coat of arms.
‘House Targaryen’ UltraBOOST
Curiously, the ‘House Targaryen’ UltraBOOST forgoes House Targaryen’s signature red colour palette for a refreshingly clean combination of white and silver, inspired by Daenerys’ signature attire.
‘Night’s Watch’ UltraBOOST
The ‘Night’s Watch’ UltraBOOST comes decked out with a fitting black upper, but is finished off with contrasting stark white toecaps and midsoles symbolic of the Wall.
‘White Walker’ UltraBOOST
Speaking of icy terrain, the ‘White Walker’ UltraBOOST naturally comes equipped with a frosty exterior of white and blue knit. Make no make mistake though, these are straight fire!
‘Targaryen Dragons’ UltraBOOST
Lastly, a tribute to the ‘Targaryen Dragons’ rounds out the collection, equipped with fiery toe-boxes to light the way.
Each pair in the Game of Thrones x adidas UltraBOOST collection comes equipped with special collaborative touches, including GOT insoles and memorable quotes from the show on the heels. The hardest part is just deciding which pair to cop!
