When we talk about the Italian streetwear scene, there’s always a name that inevitably stands out: Domenico Formichetti. Formy Studio is characterized by taking references from films, songs and books to deliver something completely new. He’s capable of presenting a unique aesthetic through bold colors and patterns in every collection.

It was only two years ago when Domenico Formichetti had a go at the international fashion world and delved into it with a new brand: Formy Studio. However, this wasn’t the first time that he had founded a clothing brand, as he had previously created FOMO (Fear Of Missing Out), that gained ground and popularity inside the country’s rap scene.
Nevertheless, his fanaticism for brands like Supreme or Off-White brought him to take a step beyond FOMO to expand his business. After the emergence of Formy Studio, his proposals started to spark great interest within the international community.

Formy Studio has earned its own language in the urban fashion. “It’s been a natural process due to the need of creating something more structured in a broader and longer lasting project with a much bigger projection”.
At the early age of 27, Domenico has built a deserved fame among the luxury streetwear’s complex industry. His fluid and psychedelic prints have already captured worldwide famous celebrities like J Balvin, Quavo or Sferaebasta.

There’s a main source of inspiration of the Milan-based graphic and fashion designer’s latest creations. The great classics of horror films. Nightmare on Elm Street, Scream or Friday the 13th are some of the highlighted references in his FW20 collection. And they perfectly merge with the brand’s DNA.
Formy Studio is now available in Foot District’s catalogue. What are you waiting for to discover more about the Italian streetwear’s greatest icon?
