Tommy Hilfiger celebrates its 40th anniversary with a special capsule collection inspired by the brand’s archive and its deep-rooted connection to the sea.
At FOOTDISTRICT, we present Tommy Hilfiger Sailing alongside Carlos Peguer, in a setting that highlights the spirit and style of this new collection.
To mark this milestone, Tommy Hilfiger pays tribute to its nautical heritage with the launch of a capsule that reimagines some of the brand’s most iconic codes. The Tommy Hilfiger Sailing Gear Capsule, blends the classic spirit of the East Coast with details inspired by the relaxed style of the American West. At FOOTDISTRICT, we present this collection together with Carlos Peguer, communicator and podcaster, as we explore style, history, and new perspectives on contemporary dressing.

Inspired by decades of connection to the sailing world, this limited-edition capsule is a tribute to maritime culture. The designs reinterpret key pieces from the Tommy archive—such as jackets, polos, and nautical sweaters—using technical materials, updated cuts, and a more refined color palette where soft reds, greens, and blues stand out.

Elements like nautical flags, ropes, and graphics inspired by the maritime alphabet are woven into modern silhouettes without losing the preppy-sport DNA that defines the brand.

From zigzag stitching to padded zippers with flag-inspired pullers, each piece in the Tommy Hilfiger Sailing Gear Capsule offers a fresh take on the sailing lifestyle. The collection includes patchwork-style shorts inspired by maritime flags, cotton sweaters, classic polos, and Carlos Peguer’s favorite: the reversible jacket.
A proposal that brings nautical dressing into the present through a contemporary reinterpretation of Tommy Hilfiger’s archive.
