This Holiday season is the perfect moment to remember the best of the year. For that reason, we want to share with all of you our best events, have the opportunity to relive those great and unforgettable moments. Here are the ranking of the Foot District’s best events of 2018:
Foot District Foot Truck – Air Max 1/97 Sean Wotherspoon Raffle
Madrid. March 24th, 2018. The Foot District Foot Truck for the Nike Air Max 1/97 Sean Wotherspoon was spotted around Madrid! In anticipation of the Air Max 1/97 SW drop, we designed and drove a Foot District “Foot” Truck around the city of Madrid on March 23rd, making stops and updating our followers on Instagram on where we’d be. Barcelona Opening – (Air Jordan 5 – International Flight release)
Barcelona. August 4th, 2018. We opened a new store! Located in the heart of Barcelona’s Gothic quarter, in a building more than a century old, Foot District’s new store takes its customers into an architectural dream, inside what some might call a transcendent space, and on a journey through the past, present, and future. Air Max 1/97 Sean Wotherspoon Restock
Barcelona. October 5th, 2018. The participants met in our store to try their luck in our slot machine. This game of luck is our hallmark in the raffles. Those who scored higher, became the winners! adidas Street United and Dashape
Madrid. October 20th, 2018. At Foot District, we’re a team, which is why we didn’t think twice when we were asked to participate in the adidas Street United. This sporting event, promoted by adidas, was held on Saturday, October 20th at Dashape. An urban soccer championship in which the main stores from the global sneaker sector got to participate. The 6 participating teams in this first edition of the adidas Street United were made up of members of Foot District, Dashape, Nigra Mercato, Strap, 24 kilates and Si vas descalzo.
It was without a doubt a unique opportunity to enjoy a good atmosphere, sport and, of course, the latest sneakers that are all the rage. Although only the winners would take away the trophy, all the teams got to bring back some great memories such as the personalized ball and shirt made for this urban event, or the tournament scarf. After the championship, together we all enjoyed the closing party with guest DJs. Thanks to adidas and Dashape for letting us be a part of this. And to the rest of the participants… we can’t wait to see your faces again. ‘Cause we want revenge!
The Grail Tour – (AJ11 Concord pre-release event)
Barcelona. November 24th, 2018. Earlier this year, Jumpman decided to bring the tour to select retailers across the globe, and, guess who was selected as the last stop on their European tour?! That’s right, Foot District Barcelona. Preparations were made to greet the Jordan team and to set up for The Grail Tour. Read the full “The Grail Tour” post.
