Here is the second episode of the Foot District campaign for the launch of the Puma Rider Pack! The series is complete with a second and final instalment in which, once again, we’re giving away an exclusive pack with the purchase of a pair of Puma Rider shoes!
Here at Foot District we created a unique project to represent the union of fashion and art that reigns supreme in our company values and to present you with an intriguing new campaign. This time, the creative workings is thanks to photographer Equis Eme (@equiseme), analog photography portrait artist putting the spotlight on people and everyday happenings in the urban scene. The project is complete now with a masterful blend of art and sportswear in which illustrator @thegirlwithahat opened the campaign and now the photographer has put the finishing touches on it.
El Rastro de Madrid (the Madrid Flea Market) was the chosen location for the campaign’s photo and video shoot, an atmosphere of harmonic chaos that perfectly embodies the essence of the two models of Puma Rider OG. The revival of vintage treasures hidden in the Rastro represents the ideal metaphor for this retro comeback by the Puma brand, committed to recovering one of their most iconic silhouettes of the past. The Puma Rider OG Pack revamps the Fast Rider from the 1980s, adding new and vibrant colors.
This time, the merger of Equis Eme and Puma is celebrated by a free gift of a new exclusive pack with the purchase of your Puma Rider Ride On. With each pair, we will include three hard copies of analog photographs taken by Equis Eme. By giving a sample of the artist’s work, we aim to pay tribute to the connection between the physical and the digital, highlighting the process of creating sneakers and demonstrating the parallelism of the care and attention required in the development of analog photography.
