In its latest collection, Daily Paper pays homage to freedom of speech, solidarity and the empowerment of the people through art, dance and music highlighting hip hop and its African heritage.
If you like fashion and streetwear but you don’t know Daily Paper, we don’t know where you’ve been these last 14 years. A brand born in Amsterdam back in 2012, created by 3 friends who used to write a blog: Hussein Suleiman, Jefferson Osei y Abderrahmane Trabsini.
On their blog, besides talking about fashion and trends, they sold t-shirts with African prints that they themselves curated. Little by little, the initial project grew into the streetwear brand we know today and which charms with its mix of colors, continuous references to its sub-Saharan legacy and professed love of urban culture.
Now, collection after collection, yet another season, we get to the Spring/Summer 2022 drop. It is a hymn to freedom of expression and a call for unity and solidarity. And all this with continuous nods and references to the African continent.

Outfits with prints that take us to Somalia, graffiti-like tags on their legs and arms, baseball-inspired shirts with African inscriptions and basic apparel in pastel hues. Everything in Daily Paper’s new release exudes hip hop, street subculture, and love and respect for their ever-present origins.
