Converse’s new commemorative collection for the premier of “Space Jam: A New Legacy” marks the streetwear tribute to the famous film saga that has marked an entire generation.
The film “Space Jam: A New Legacy” brings us more than just enjoying LeBron James and the Looney Tunes teaming up on the court. Converse takes us to a higher level of fanaticism with its new collection in tribute to Space Jam.
The capsule is made up of clothing items and sneakers, all of them covered in drawings with the characters from the saga. The Converse Run Star Motion Hi and the classic Chuck 70 arrive reissued by Bugs Bunny and his friends from the court, with special and fun designs.
For the more daring, the Run Star Motion Hi features a platform midsole with a serrated sole and a galactic print that covers the entire upper. Blue and purple colors contrast with black, white, and hints of orange, creating a striking color scheme that evokes the iconic Space Jam graphic logo. For its part, the Chuck 70 arrives in two different reissues. Both have a black base and are printed or embroidered with some graphic motifs from the film, such as the animated characters or the number 6.
The apparel consists of a sweatshirt and a T-shirt, with patterns that follow the aesthetic line of Converse: comfortable, with soft cotton and a slightly wide silhouette.
