Patta and Converse, regular allies
Patta reunites with Converse, one of its enduring allies, with a fresh collection inspired by some of the brand’s iconic pieces and a fresh functional and utilitarian aesthetic. Patta emerged in Amsterdam’s hip hop culture, but it has always maintained ties to Suriname, the country of origin of the founders, Edson Sabajo and Guillaume ‘Gee’ Schmidt. They did so even in the name, because patta is the Surinamese word for sneakers. Patta has grown from music and graffiti to become a pioneering brand in Europe for its ability to support emerging communities and cultures.
Patta’s very origin forces them to be constantly on the move, looking for new creators and new creations. A constant and active search serves as inspiration for their new Converse collection, Rain or Shine, which includes the Weapon OX, Chuck 70 Marquis, hoodie, pants, jacket and allover printed T-shirt.

A 1980s legend has been transformed into a multi-terrain sneaker with Cordura construction, reflective elements, D-top eyelets and a new plastic piece that protects while maintaining the classic style.
Converse x Patta Chuck 70 Marquis
The Chuck 70 Marquis takes its name from Converse’s founder to create a design that combines classic elements with new patterns that improve functionality. Made of ultra-tough Cordura, with a new structure, camouflage print, and reflective detailing on the iconic Chuck Taylor patch. The classic eyelet is finished with two D-shaped eyelets for easy on/off.

Designed so the rain can’t stop you. With an ergonomic folding hood, adjustable sleeves with touch closures, and water-resistant taped seams. Unique style thanks to its gradient print and collection graphic in reflective material.

Made of 250 g/m2 cotton with a subtle gradient throughout, with Patta and Chuck Taylor logos on the front. On the back, in reflective material, the collection’s graphic design, in which the three monkeys refuse to let the weather stop them from being active.
