FOOTDISTRICT introduced its new project, Segundo Espacio, through DES DE ZERO. Confluències, conceived as a bridge between communities, brought together key figures from local culture and emerging talent for a day filled with music, dance, and dialogue. It was a call to collaboration and the co-creation of new opportunities.

Segundo Espacio emerges as part of FOOTDISTRICT’s tenth-anniversary celebration, reflecting the questions and lessons gathered along the way. More than just a physical place, it serves as a reflective space where self-awareness is achieved through open dialogue and collective collaboration, moving away from individual introspection.

With the vision of becoming a social meeting point, Segundo Espacio draws from local culture to connect with other communities, fostering new cultural expressions. Located in the vibrant artistic heart of Barcelona, surrounded by museums and creative energy, it stands as a symbol of shared identity and a catalyst for cultural exchange. A first contact with the community was essential.

The day began with a conversation led by Francesca Tur, featuring Espíritu Club, Lluís Garau, M8NSE, and Georgina Taglietti. This exchange of ideas and perspectives evolved into a dynamic live performance. Artists like Nusar3000, Ale Kaldas, Verushka, and Oulouy transformed the space into a melting pot of creativity where music and dance intertwined, creating a genuine sense of connection. Guillermo Salas’s work served as a central element, highlighting the collaborative spirit and the importance of art as a medium for encounter.
Beyond the performances, DES DE ZERO Confluències is a clear commitment to connecting communities that had previously coexisted without interaction. This inaugural event emphasized Segundo Espacio’s mission: to promote dialogue, collective action, and the creation of lasting connections. It was a reminder that when ideas and talents converge, unique opportunities for growth and collaboration arise.

In its first major event, FOOTDISTRICT demonstrated that Confluències is just the beginning—a launch that promises to continue building bridges, exploring new creative scenes, and establishing Segundo Espacio as a hub for dialogue and creativity in Barcelona.
