Since 2014, the Canadian brand has combined design, technology, and responsibility to create equipment that goes beyond performance. Because for Ciele, running is also a form of expression.
Ciele Athletics was born in Quebec with a simple yet powerful idea: to move people — not just physically, but toward connection, community, and awareness. Since 2014, the Canadian brand has redefined running gear — and living — through an approach that unites performance, design, and responsibility.
It all started with a cap

Everything began with a cap — the Ciele Athletics GOCap — perhaps the brand’s most recognizable piece. Lightweight, breathable, washable, with UPF+40 protection, reflective details, and a soft, flexible brim designed to move with you. That signature piece marked the beginning of a philosophy: to design with purpose, refine every detail, and offer a distraction-free experience.
That first cap represented the brand’s moment of expansion and its most iconic element, but it also set the foundation for a broader catalog — always focused on technical, useful, and functional garments.
Ciele’s evolution

Today, Ciele extends that same precision to apparel and accessories designed to perform on any terrain — from 5Ks to ultramarathons. Its technical clothing, introduced in 2022 and expanded in 2023, combines materials such as merino wool, REPREVE®, silk, and recycled cotton to ensure protection, performance, and durability.
But Ciele doesn’t stop at the pavement. Its creative energy has led to collaborations with brands like Norda, Veja, and Salomon, creating products that blur the lines between fashion, functionality, and art. Pieces such as the Norda 001 “Cooper’s Hawk” or the Salomon Pulsar Trail Pro x Ciele reflect a community that sees design as both movement and expression.
Behind every collection lies an ethical and environmental commitment. As a B Corp (a certification recognizing its commitment to sustainability and social responsibility), Ciele works with recycled and biodegradable materials, evaluates its supply chain, and promotes repair and circularity programs that extend the life of each product.
Beyond performance, Ciele represents a way to run — and live — with intention, appreciating the process as much as the finish line. At its core, it’s about connection: with oneself, with others, and with the world around us. Ciele Athletics is now part of the FOOTDISTRICT brand lineup.
