After countless reissues of silhouettes like the GEL-Lyte III or the GEL-Lyte V, ASICS went where it all began. Thirty years after, the initial model of the GEL-Lyte family is getting its first-ever retro after being introduced in 1987.
The similarities with the GEL-Lyte III and GEL-Lyte V are obvious and it’s cool to see the evolution through the different silhouettes. The GEL-Lyte OG retro arrives in both original colorways, White / Black / Orange and White / Blue / Yellow, in a suede and nylon mesh construction and they are available in both men and women sizes. The ASICS GEL-Lyte OG retro is already up for grabs, both online and instore. Take it back to 1987.
