Nike Air Max Dn. What is Dynamic Air?
The new Air Max Dn incorporates the next generation of Air Max technology, the revolutionary Dynamic Air, a system made up of four dual-pressure Air units that move air to provide a smooth, energised ride. The four-tube, two-chamber unit is designed to provide superior comfort, a smooth ride, and maximum rebound. This dual pressure unit consists of two pressurised chambers, each with its own set of two tubes. In a strategic arrangement, the two rear tubes have a higher pressure (103 kPa) than the two front tubes (34 kPa).
As you move, air flows freely between the tubes of each chamber, allowing the air pressure to adjust dynamically to your movements. This configuration ensures a smooth feel with each step, which is both comfortable and interactive. For the first time, Air Max technology reacts in real time to movement.
The key to Dynamic Air is movement
In Nike’s never-ending pursuit of innovation, Dynamic Air technology introduces a new dimension in which air movement is as important as its own capabilities, and different pressures transform the footprint experience.
But it is not just technology; as it has always been with Air Max, the shoe’s design had to be striking. To replicate the smooth transition of the Dynamic Air footprint, an upper with haptic textures and textured overlays was developed to complement the Air unit. The result is a bold Air Max that reimagines Nike Air’s future with each step while also changing reality.
