The Air Jordan retro line of sneaker is pretty interesting for a number of reasons. One of those involves the stories and lore that come with each shoe and special iteration. The background here has to do with MJ’s always particular sense of fashion. As a rookie, Jordan once donned a Blue flight suit prior to his games. That outlandish look is what inspires this premium rendition of the AJ 5. The upper here is decked out in a lush suede all throughout, giving the colorway some added texture. Even the mesh lateral window is toned out in the Blue hue. Midsole detailing and the reflective 3M tongue are the only parts of the upper that represent a contrast. Other than that, this retro Jordan model doesn’t mince words.
