Air Jordan 14 Last Shot celebrates 20 Years of History
The Air Jordan 14 ‘Last Shot’ is a striking celebration of a unique moment in basketball history. The shoe materializes once again an undeniable truth: Michael Jordan was (and still is for that matter), unlike any other basketball player.
Properly named ‘Last Shot’ it was released to honor that unique moment during the 1998 NBA Finals game between the Chicago Bulls and the Utah Jazz, when Michael Jordan threw the winning shot, with just 5.2 seconds left to play. A shot that also meant the sixth championship and also the Finals MVP for His Airness.
Celebrating the 20th anniversary of the occasion, the Jordan 14 ‘Last Shot’ takes us all the way back to 1998. It was on June 14, at the Delta Center in Salt Lake City that history happened.
Led by Michael Jordan, the Chicago Bulls won the final game of the season with just one point over the Utah Jazz: 87-86. There were 5.2 seconds left and Michael Jordan took the shot.
This new edition fully respects the original and updates it. Featuring an all-black upper, made of premium tumbled leather with nubuck, it also includes some hints of red throughout. The ultimate finishing touch comes from the signature shield logo branding in yellow appearing on the side panel.
