Winter means a lot of different things to different people. For sneakerheads, it means we’re due for some winterized footwear. First and foremost is the very distinctive color scheme. From Timbs-loving denizens of New York to pretty much anyone anywhere, everyone can get down with this tan look for a shoe. Drape on to the iconic design of the Air Jordan 13, and you have yourself an instant classic.
Unlike a majority of Air Jordan 13 colorways, the upper here is in a soft suede. The choice is interesting as it gives the Golden Harvest and Elemental Gold hues some added texture. This model also contrasts with last year’s “Wheat” release of the AJ 13, which wasn’t an all-over colorway such as this one.
It’s a pleasant surprise and should make for an interesting finisher to your outfits. If nothing else, the Air Jordan 13 “Wheat” is a competent addition to your Winter kicks rotation.
