Air Jordan 1 OG becomes the best hand of all:
The Air Jordan 1 OG “Track Red” and “Yellow Ochre” are yet more evidence of the enduring legacy behind the Jordan brand. Namely, it’s a reminder that the hype behind the brand is about the man for whom they were made.
Michael Jordan’s reputation in the league seemed to truly begin its cementing once the Air Jordan 1 debuted. Now, we get some more looks at the one that started it all, dropping in two gorgeous looks as part of the “Best Hand in the Game” pack. As usual, the quality is sublime.
The Air Jordan 1 has an interesting combination of simplicity and high quality. In fact, the former informs the latter. The simple build on the Air Jordan 1 helps to bring to life the real quality of the materials used.
Now, some of you may scoff at that, considering some of the duds we’ve seen as general releases. But, this OG drop is here to remind us all that the Air Jordan 1 is nothing to eff with.
The uppers here look to use a combination of quality leather, joined by stitch detailing and what looks to be nubuck paneling towards the heel. We see the shoes here in two distinctive colorways, ranging between Track Red and Yellow Ochre.
Both are season appropriate, representing some of the louder looks we’ve seen drop for the AJ 1. And yet, that unmistakable silhouette and leather construction leave us with the same wow factor.
This is another one of those models that you’ll likely want to keep out of your actual hooping rotation, but it’s worth a look for your nights out!
