adidas x UNDEFEATED collab project presents a new collection
The latest from the adidas x UNDEFEATED partnership is an inspired take on functional fashion.
Consisting of 19 pieces – both apparel and footwear – this latest from the collab is a bit of a reminder of what performance wear is supposed to be.
Even beyond that, it’s an aggressive take on the different tech that adidas offers in their products.
As it turns out, the Three Stripes brand is really, really good at this whole activewear thing. You wouldn’t be faulted for perhaps forgetting that in today’s fashion-first consumer market.
adidas UNDEFEATED UltraBOOST
Now, the highlight of this special collection is definitely the Ultra Boost. It comes featuring two colors, Black and White.
Other than the UNDFT branding, the shoes see no changes to their functional specs. Tooling highlights include Primeknit uppers, minimal lateral caging, and that bouncy Boost underfoot.
The goal here is to highlight the raw functionality beneath the footwear hype. With that being said, pieces such as the new Adizero Adios look streetwear ready in both a Black and White colorway and also in a Desert Camo scheme that truly pops.
The clothing in this collection is also very heavy on performance, most of which centers on running.
A good selection of wind jackets, hoodies, shorts, tees, and sweatpants give you plenty to take with you on a run.
Judging by the initial advertising, there’s an emphasis on urban versatility as well. This gear isn’t limiting itself to runs at your local park or on the neighborhood sidewalk.
