A whole new level of outdoor footwear
The adidas Terrex Two Boa x White Mountaineering shows us the latest in a collaborative project that has been absolutely killing it. White Mountaineering and the Three Stripes Brand had an incredible set of releases last year, highlighted by pieces such as a unique take on the NMD and even a line of collaborative clothing.
So, of course, the pair had to get together again for what looks to be yet another banger. There’s no straying away from the pragmatism of past releases here. The subject of this latest project is the Terrex Two Boa, a modern take on the trail shoe.
Now, before you let your imagination wander, this isn’t your run-of-the-mill hiking shoe. The bulk and extra weight is a thing of the past, as adidas and White Mountaineering put a futuristic spin on this model.
A Sharp Print Trail Racing Shoe

The upper is in a sharp, streamlined printed build that looks more like a racing shoe. The base material here is also pretty lightweight, offering some breathability.
Still, the functionality isn’t sacrificed. Instead of the traditional lacing set-up, we get the Boa Closure system which allows for on-the-fly adjustments to fit and comfort.
Keeping in line with both brands’ emphasis on durability, overlays of TPU are placed on the upper for added protection. Another functional addition involves the shoe’s outsole. Here, we see a good helping of continental rubber that is patterned in the style of the “Baron Project” line of off-road tires.
The look of the shoe is quite stunning as well. Available in two colorways, we get the option of a White or Black iteration. Each sports the relatively large White Mountaineering branding on the midsole as well as the adidas Terrex print.
Another interesting hint of branding comes to us via 3-D printed Three Stripes on the lateral panels. Available now, don’t miss out on these trail gems!
