The Foot District contribution to the design of the adidas POD System silhouette.
Last Friday, on October 19th, Dashape and adidas invited us to participate in a workshop where we got to enjoy an incredibly interactive experience: we were able to make a small contribution to the design of the adidas POD System silhouette. An event that had been held previously in London with huge success.
Together with an adidas team designer, we learned about the inspiration behind the POD. An innovative design that combines EVA technology in the midsole, the popular BOOST cushioning system, as well as the Point of Deflection system.
Among those attending were members of the most representative stores in the sector and a few sneakerheads. During the workshop, we learned about the phases involved in the design process for their shoes. And then… we got to work! The most entertaining part had arrived. All participants were able to unleash our creativity and make our own individual proposals.
