There’s a special status that comes with being the “OG.” The modern models of adidas are no exception to that. It seems like yesterday when we were just getting our first glimpses at the XR1. Now, we’re looking forward to a release of the OG colorway later this month.
The NMD’s original color scheme was a simple one, including a Black base, crisp White BOOST midsole, and synthetic midsole pieces in Blue and Red. Now, that same initial look adorns the XR1, the original’s functional evolution. The last time we saw the OG colorway release, in its traditional NMD form, it was sold out within moments. You can bet this release will get the same treatment.
It’s a safe bet that adidas isn’t quite done tinkering with the NMD and its functional possibilities. Due out for a global release on May 20th, mark your calendars and make sure you don’t miss out on this OG-styled pair! Find it now at our adidas section.
