The adidas EQT Support Ultra “King Push” continues a remarkable run of releases. Both adidas and Pusha T have enjoyed serious benefit from this partnership, and it’s plain to see. The Three Stripes brand sees the EQT Support Ultra model somehow improve itself, thanks to some intriguing design details.
The most noticeable element here is going to be the upper. This sneaker takes on the usual Primeknit build on its base, but now boasts a premium overlay. Sections of thick carp leather adorn parts of both the heel and forefoot. We even see this leather on the shoe’s collar section, reaching towards the ankle. The unique pattern combination makes for an eye-contrast throughout. Adding more visual texture is the sockliner, its graphics inspired by Pyrex.
Functionally, there wasn’t much needed in addition to the standard EQT. Along with the aforementioned Primeknit upper, we see a robust BOOST midsole as well as a Continental rubber outsole.
“King Push” continues his success rate with adidas here. They’d already seen success, and a ton of love in the sneakerhead community, with previous releases. As such, there was no reason to go off in a different direction. Carp leather plus primeknit and BOOST is going to add this release to the partnership’s impressive list of unquestioned hits.
As always with anything from the adidas x Pusha T line, this is an easy cop!
