Benito merges two decades in a new silhouette, Adizero SL72, inspired by two adidas running classics: SL 72 and Adizero.

adidas Originals and Bad Bunny expand a collection that, in recent seasons, has included the Forum, Response CL, Campus, and Gazelle Indoor. The latest addition, the Adizero SL72, is the result of blending two eras—the 1970s and the early 2000s—and two distinct styles representative of each time period.

SL 72 and Adizero
The new Adizero SL72 is built upon the Adizero lineage, retaining the comfort, responsiveness, and multi-layered structure of early 2000s running shoes. However, its design incorporates a nod to another recently revived classic, the adidas SL72, subtly referenced in the upper. As a finishing touch, “adidas para Bad Bunny” is inscribed between the 3-Stripes.

1970 vs 2000
The fusion of two designs also represents the union of two decades—the birth years of these two models—which directly influenced Bad Bunny’s music. The Adizero SL72 combines technical elements and adidas heritage, echoing Benito’s ability to blend musical styles. Through this visual approach, “adidas para Bad Bunny” offers a fresh way to experience the past, reinterpreted with a modern twist that invites constant innovation.

The “adidas para Bad Bunny” Adizero SL72, available in two colorways tied to the history of both models, will be exclusively available for VERIFIED users.
