Some time ago we came up with an illustrated evolution of Nike sneakers: now, we decided to do the same with another of the greatest brands in sports: adidas.
The story of adidas starts before Nike‘s: as soon as in the 20’s the Dassler brothers started to manufacture sports footwear. We went back to the 60’s and decided to choose three sneakers for each decade until the 90’s.
As you can see, from simple and light footwear, adidas sneakers have introduced more and more technological innovations, which implies increasingly complex designs. In addition, the german brand stands out in every field: you can find tennis sneakers, basketball, running…
And many of them are still valued today, an evidence that good design is time-proof. No need to look very far: this same year adidas reissued the Stan Smith, the LA Trainer, lots of colourways of the Gazelle and the ZX…
