Twenty years after: 2017 is the year that we celebrate the 20th anniversary of the Nike Air Max 97.
One of the most recognizable silhouettes of Nike’s portfolio, it was retroed early this year in its original form and colorway, the “Silver Bullet”, but it seems Nike saved the party for August.
Apart from some cool new introductions in terms of colors and materials, such as suede or snake-skin for a more premium look, the Air Max 97 gets its biggest upgrade so far, the Nike Air Max 97 Ultra 17.
The modernized Ultra 17 features a single-layer upper to highlight its signature lines and introduces a new Air PSI levels on the sole unit which reduces the weight and improves comfort. On that note, nobody makes a proper celebration like Nike.
The new Nike Air Max 97 Ultra is presented in a overtake way with 8 new stunning colorways dropping at once, ‘Mint’, ‘Marina Blue’, ‘Silver Bullet’, ‘Midnight Navy’, ‘Light Bone’, ‘Rose Gold’, ‘Triple Black’ and ‘Black/White’, enough options for every taste in both men and women versions.
