Our entry into the metaverse \u2013with a virtual world of our own\u2013 is a natural and necessary step. That’s why we welcome you to Outer Shelf, a new universe of sneakers, fashion and trends created and developed by FOOTDISTRICT.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Outer Shelf is the virtual world that changes the rules of the game. A space of the many that form – or will form – part of the metaverse, intended for the FOOTDISTRICT community. In this new platform, you can create an avatar in your image or likeness (or design a new and original alter ego) thanks to its multiple customization options. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
Physiognomy, constitution, hair color, eyes\u2026 and even masks! And most importantly: you can dress it with exact digital versions of sneakers and garments from your favorite brands: Nike, Jordan Brand, adidas, New Balance, St\u00fcssy, Stone Island, Carhartt… Everything that you need to express yourself through your Other Self and be who you want to be. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
And the best part? You can change the look of your avatar as many times as you want. Step into your virtual dressing room and modify your appearance and outfit at Outer Shelf. Move the style of your rotations to the virtual world. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The possibilities are endless. <\/p>\n\n\n\n To kick off Outer Shelf, FOOTDISTRICT teamed up with the streetwear expert and youtuber from Madrid byCalitos. With him, we will launch a contest in which we will reward the most powerful avatars and outfits of our virtual world with up to 1 year of direct and priority access to drops and gift vouchers of up to 900\u20ac. <\/p>\n\n\n\n To participate, simply download the Outer Shelf app from the Apple Store or Google Play and sign in with your FOOTDISTRICT user account, or create a new one if you don’t have one. <\/p>\n\n\n\n Once inside, create an avatar, customize its appearance and choose the most groundbreaking outfit. Don’t be shy and dare to be original! When you’re ready, take a screenshot, go to Outer Shelf<\/a> and upload your image there. And if you want to show off your look on your networks, download the final photo and share it with the hashtag #OuterShelf. <\/p>\n\n\n\n After an internal selection process, the 30 best avatars will be chosen and uploaded to our website for voting.
