Disconnect from what keeps you away. Connect with what keeps you alive. It may sound simple, but in a world over-saturated with superfluous stimuli, it is not so simple. Terra Project was born from this need to reconnect with what really matters: as a way of teaching us to relate to our environment in a different, more respectful way. And all this through outdoor sports and direct interaction with nature.<\/strong><\/p>\n

After the almost 230 kg of waste collected in the first phase, this second phase is on track to break the record. The <\/span>24.77 kg of waste, including plastics, paper and even a small engine and a car bumper,<\/strong> collected in just 25 minutes in the vicinity of the Arroyo de la Fuensanta in the first activity of the second phase shows us that there is still a lot to do. <\/span><\/p>\n

Skiing and snowboarding in Grau Roig<\/strong><\/p>\n

For the next activity of the second phase of Terra Project, on 26 March we went to the top of the water cycle: to the mountains, where the air and water molecules are purer and less polluted. Departing from Barcelona, <\/span>the FOOTDISTRICT and Nike ACG team, in collaboration with Ocean 52, travelled to the Grau Roig resort in Andorra<\/strong> to enjoy a day in the snow.<\/span><\/p>\n

To better understand the water cycle, we met with <\/span>Mathieu Cr\u00e9pel<\/strong>, <\/span>two-time Olympian and Snowboard World Champion<\/strong>. The French snowboarder is a committed environmentalist, as evidenced by his activity with the <\/span>NGO Water Family<\/strong>, and served as a guide to understand how water is transformed in the mountains, from the ice-filled north-facing slopes to the spring water we have at lunchtime. <\/span><\/p>\n

Of course, the group did the now <\/span>classic clean-up session<\/strong> at the resort car park and nearby stream: <\/span>almost 14.31 kg of waste collected on this occasion,<\/strong> which will no longer pollute the unique environment of the Grau Roig resort.<\/span><\/p>\n

Permanent activities<\/strong><\/p>\n

While the next two activities of this Phase II arrive, we encourage you to visit <\/span>the permanent Terra Project booth at Platja de Sant Sebasti\u00e0<\/strong> and take part in the guided <\/span>paddle surfing and kayaking activities.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Make your reservation by writing to <\/span>info@obrintvia.cat<\/strong>, indicating your details, how many people will participate in the activity and the date of your choice or by calling <\/span>647 408 777 on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 17:00 to 19:00<\/strong>.<\/span><\/p>\n

The booth is open from Tuesday to Friday from 17:30 to 19:30<\/strong> and <\/span>on weekends from 9:00 to 11:00<\/strong> if you would like to come and meet the team and make your booking in person.<\/span><\/p>\n
