{"id":7027,"date":"2021-07-06T14:50:27","date_gmt":"2021-07-06T12:50:27","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/52.30.207.235\/terra-project-vi-wild-kayak-tour\/"},"modified":"2024-02-27T16:04:06","modified_gmt":"2024-02-27T15:04:06","slug":"terra-project-vi-wild-kayak-tour","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/blog.footdistrict.com\/en\/terra-project-vi-wild-kayak-tour\/","title":{"rendered":"Terra Project VI: Wild Kayak Tour"},"content":{"rendered":"<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The Outdoor Experience \u2018Wild kayak tour\u2019 was launched in a totally different environment from the urban beach of Barceloneta where we developed other activities. &nbsp;This time, we went to the extreme North of Costa Brava to spend a very special day at sea.<strong> Llan\u00e7\u00e0<\/strong> is a beautiful coastal town 15km south of the French border, where the Pyrenees meets the Mediterranean and the coast is truly wild.<br \/>\n<img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/footdistrict.com\/media\/wysiwyg\/blog\/1.jpg\" alt=\"terra-project\" width=\"1000\" height=\"800\"><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/footdistrict.com\/media\/wysiwyg\/blog\/2.jpg\" alt=\"terra-project\" width=\"1000\" height=\"800\"><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">There, the professional kayaker and ocean52 ambassador<strong> Rai Puig<\/strong> was waiting for the whole group to take us on a 10km kayak trip to the North and show us the beauty of the coast. All this adventure after an impressive master class in rowing technique so that we are fully prepared.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/footdistrict.com\/media\/wysiwyg\/blog\/3.jpg\" alt=\"terra-project\" width=\"1000\" height=\"800\"><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/footdistrict.com\/media\/wysiwyg\/blog\/4.jpg\" alt=\"terra-project\" width=\"1000\" height=\"800\"><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The sun, gentle winds, and a calm sea were the perfect companions for an amazing coastal geology excursion. On our way, we passed through faults and cliffs with layers of rock that hid small magical coves with crystal clear waters.<br \/>\n<img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/footdistrict.com\/media\/wysiwyg\/blog\/5.jpg\" alt=\"terra-project\" width=\"1000\" height=\"800\"><br \/>\nHalfway, we stopped to give a stroll through the hills behind the port of Cala de San Joan. There, we took the opportunity to collect waste. In total, we found <strong>3,7 kg<\/strong> of trash, again mostly single-use plastics, fishing nets, and masks.<br \/>\n<img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/footdistrict.com\/media\/wysiwyg\/blog\/6.jpg\" alt=\"terra-project\" width=\"1000\" height=\"800\"><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/footdistrict.com\/media\/wysiwyg\/blog\/7.jpg\" alt=\"terra-project\" width=\"1000\" height=\"800\"><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">There is still a lot of work to do, a lot of oceans to clean, and a lot of landscapes to explore. But it is really encouraging to see some pristine nature not so far from the main cities.
